Sabattus Central School Participates in EMS Presentation
On February 2nd United Ambulance Service provided a presentation for 8th
Grade Students at Sabattus Central School. The presentation was
given by Paramedic, Scott Latulippe and Intermediate EMT, Eric Saunders.
The
Sabattus Central School students had been participating in an ongoing
American Heart Association “CPR for Schools Module”. The module
was taught by the School Nurse, Ms. Ronnie Paradis (RN).
United was requested to provide a one hour, informational presentation of an
Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The presentation also included
an overview of the Maine Emergency Medical Services license levels,
an explanation of the responsibilities of different license levels,
and how someone can obtain licensure at each level.
