United Donates Ambulance to

Denmark Fire Department

On Tuesday, August 14th, United Ambulance Service donated an ambulance to the Denmark Fire Department.  The donated vehicle is a 1998 Horton Type III ambulance and is replacing Denmark’s current ambulance which is a 1978 Ford chassis.

Denmark Fire Department is licensed as a Maine First Responder Service and has four EMT’s and four First Responders who respond to over 20 calls each year.  United’s Bridgton Division provides Paramedic coverage and emergency medical transportation for the Town of Denmark and has been providing services since July of 2001.
