United Donates Ambulance to the West Paris Fire Department
United Ambulance Service has recently donated an ambulance to the West Paris Fire Department. The donated vehicle is a 2001 Horton Type III ambulance and is replacing West Paris’s current rescue truck which is a 1991 Ford chassis.
The West Paris Fire Department is currently applying to Maine Emergency Medical Services to become a licensed First Responder Service. Once licensed, West Paris Fire EMT’s and First Responder’s will provide first responder services for all West Paris emergency calls until Tri-Town Rescue arrives to transport the patient(s). Additionally, the newer vehicle will also assist West Paris in participating in mutual aid services if requested by surrounding towns.
