Paramedic-

Required Qualifications:

Ambulance Vehicle Operators Course (AVOC)

American Heart ACLS

Maine Paramedic License or NREMT-P
(eligible for state licensure)
Healthcare Provider CPR
Maine Driver's License

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

*Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
*Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP)

Preferred Qualifications:
12-lead EKG Training / Experience
Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS)
Maine Paramedic Inter-facility Program (PIT)
Neonatal Resucitation Program (NRP)
EMT - Required Qualifications:

Ambulance Vehicle Operators Course (AVOC)

Current Maine EMT License (EMT-I or EMT-B)
Maine Driver's License
Healthcare Provider CPR

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

*Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP)

* Note: Only 1 Pediatric certification is required for Paramedic and EMT-I positions. The employee can choose which certification they wish to maintain.

 

Dispatcher- Required Qualifications:
Healthcare Provider CPR
Customer Service Experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Priority EMD Certification

Medical Priority ETC Certification
Prior Dispatching Experience

Van Operator- Required Qualifications:
Maine Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare Provider CPR
First Aid Certification (General)
