Community Paramedicine Affiliate Program
Hosted by United Training Center — A Maine EMS-Approved Training Center

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a currently licensed EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic to enroll in this program. A laptop and reliable internet access are required to participate in this course.
Time Commitment:

Online Lecture: 24 hours
-
In-Person Lab: 8 hours
-
Clinical: Minimum 24 hours
-
Independent Study: 15–25 hours/week (reading, assignments, clinical documentation)

In-Person Lab Day:

Location: United Training Center (UTC), Lewiston, ME
Clinical Requirements:

24-hour minimum clinical rotation
-
Clinical shifts are scheduled as needed

Clinicals run concurrently with the course

Students have 60 additional days after the final class to complete clinical hours
-
Proof of immunizations is required before beginning clinical shifts
-
Additional clinical hours may be assigned to meet clinical objectives
Course Completion:
Students who complete all coursework, lab, and clinical hours will receive a Program Completion Certificate and will be eligible to apply for Maine EMS Community Paramedicine Affiliate Licensure.
Accreditation:
United Training Center is a Maine EMS-approved Training Center.
Note: This program does not offer college credit.

Community Paramedicine Technician Program
