Required Qualifications:

  Ambulance Vehicle Operators Course (AVOC)

  American Heart Association ACLS

  Maine Paramedic License (eligible for state licensure)
  Health Care Provider/BLS CPR
  Valid Driver's License

  Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)

  *Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  *Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (ALS PEPP)

  *Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC)

Preferred Qualifications:

  12-lead EKG Training/Experience
  Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS)
  Maine Paramedic Inter-Facility Program (PIFT)
  Neonatal Resucitation Program (NRP)

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)


Required Qualifications:

  Ambulance Vehicle Operators Course (AVOC)

  Current Maine EMT License (Advanced EMT or Basic EMT)
  Valid Driver's License
  Health Care Provider/BLS CPR

  Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

  *Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 

  *Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP)

  *Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC)

*Note: Only one pediatric certification is required for Paramedic and EMT positions. The employee can choose which certification they wish to maintain. 


Required Qualifications:

  Health Care Provider/BLS CPR
  Customer Service Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  Medical Priority EMD Certification

  Medical Priority ETC Certification 

  Maine EMS EMD License

  Prior Dispatching Experience

Van Driver

Required Qualifications:

  Valid Driver's License

  Must be 21+ years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

  HeartSaver CPR

  First Aid Certification (General)
